Kid's Ministry at Stony Run Mission

At SRM, we aim to help children come to know God as Lord and Savior of their lives.   Knowing Jesus is more than just a head knowledge.   We want our kiddos to connect their whole lives with the heart of Jesus!

Sunday School

Kids of all ages can attend Sunday School.   Kids return to the sanctuary for regular morning worship service.

Wednesday Night Kid's Club

Kids are divided into classes and rotate into stations which may include Bible Study, Music, Games, Crafts and Snacks.    Kid's Club groups also sometimes meet at local playgrounds, help with service projects, send encouragement cards to shut-ins, and go bowling!  

He is Risen Egg Hunt

Children and their families are welcome to the fellowship hall while teens hide plastic eggs around the church grounds.   Children hear an Easter devotional, complete crafts, eat snacks and (of course) find lots of prized eggs!

VBS -- Bible School

Kids from walking through teens are invited to join us for Bible School   Teens meet in the yellow schoolhouse.  Children meet in the sanctuary and then divide into classes.   Each night they participate in Bible Study, Music, Games, Crafts and Snacks.   On Friday night, families are welcome to come to a closing program.   A fellowship snack for everyone follows the program.

Glow For God Event

Families are encouraged to attend this event in late October to discover how we can GLOW FOR GOD.   After dinner, a devotion and hayride round out the evening.

Christmas Program Event

All kids are invited to participate in the Christmas Program.  They may chose to recite a part, show their dramatic flair in a play or musical and even sing or play an instrument!
